An unexpected open day

Apr 15, 2008 13:07

I am finally going to the open day for the Warwick Systems Biology Doctoral Training Centre. I'm quite nervous excited about this as I've been looking at the program every other month since before Christmas thinking how much I'd like to do it, and every time ruling it out on the grounds that it'd be oh so bad for my health. Then my Mum phoned them up this morning to ask if there were places available for the open day, and ended up having a good old chat about me and my health and apparently there could be some flexibility on the course to fit around me. Which would be brilliant.

Anyway, the open day is tomorrow. Which means I have to catch a train in about 1 hour's time to Wolverhampton, so that I can get a train from there to Warwick (or rather Coventry) tomorrow morning. There's nothing like good planning. Which, to steal a phrase, is good because this is nothing like good planning. I should probably go and grab some clothes now so I am actually packed before my train leaves.
