Excellent story. The lead was well crafted, and I was rooting for her to finally take this "father" down. Well tied to Willow's empowering spell - a good stand up and cheer moment.

Disturbing story, told from a strong sense of authenticity. How many other girls who's lives were saved that night by Willow's spell? Probably alot.

Excellent story. I thought it would have been even better if the author had done an original scene at the end, with the real Scoobies showing up at her door sometime later to fill the new Slayer in on what had happened to her, especially since it's obvious this writer could have written a great original scene judging by the rest of the work. Wouldn't it have been great if Robin had been one of the ones to show up at the door, he a Slayer's son and this Slayer with a daughter?

Gave. Me. Chills.
At first, I kept thinking, "This is a slayer?" Then I realized the time-frame. Well done.

Even though I was sure she was going to be a slayer I found the story very interesting

Can't help but wonder why he'd come after her once she left...but then people like that remain a mystery to me no matter how often I see 'em

people like that are a mystery but the short version is: she is "his" his property with no right to leave him. he was simply coming to retrieve what is his.

This story accents one of the best final scenes in the whole series, i think, at the end of season 7. The chubby, not-a-nu-perfect-beauty-queen girl, halting the backhanded slap rushing at her face...

I thought it was real-feeling. Some battered women unfortunately only hear the call to freedom after their abuser causes a miscarriage.
