Hey not to clear on what you want for this part:

YOUR FIC REQUESTS:
PROMPT WORDS OR FIC SCENARIO #1:
PROMPT WORDS OR FIC SCENARIO #2:
ROMANCE, FRIENDSHIP, OR EITHER?:
WHAT ELEMENTS DO YOU *NOT* WANT IN YOUR STORY?:
MAXIMUM RATING:

If you could explain that I can fill out a form...

If you could explain that I can fill out a form...The colon on the first line seems to have confused people.:) Sorry ( ... )

It's no problem, a lot of people did.:) We'll just include these comments when we forward the requests. They probably won't count as "required", but they'll help give the writers better ideas of what their readers really want.:)

okay, forgive me for being an idiot about this, but when you're asking for "fic prompts or fic scenario #1" and "#2", are people signing up for two fics?

Or are you supposed to list only two "one word" prompts...or two scenarios that are both to be incorporated in one fic or...

Um...[scratches head]. Yeah. My experiences in ficathons is limited, and I've not seen prompts done this particular way yet.

It's two scenarios (or prompts) that you'd like to see. The author can then choose to do one or the other. Or incorporate aspects of both, I suppose, if the two aren't mutually exclusive. Basically, there are two to give the author more to work with, in case one scenario/prompt just doesn't spark anything at all. Hopefully at least one of the two will spark their creativity.

I hope that makes sense. :)

I have until the end of the day to sign up right? I'm having some computer issues and I still need to think more on my prompt. I'll post before it closes up tonight.

Yes, sign-ups close tonight. We never actually stated a cut-off "hour" as we didn't want to be overly biased toward the East Coast.:D So, anytime tonight is fine. If you have posting problems, you can always email your sign-up stats and prompts to myself or 6beforelunch either on our private addresses or the group address samdanielficathon at gmail dot com.
