I am currently sitting in the Student Union of SJSU on my rather new laptop typing away without a single wire touching my computer, aside the power cord of course. I am quite happy. After ages and ages of being either tethered to the router, or a dock of some manner, I am now sitting ready to run around with a decent and good solution to connectivity.
On the other hand, I am sitting in the student union right next to the staircase where an apparent gathering of Nubilian high school graduates have been walking around in search of some office or another. Who ever said that technology were driving humans father away from each other. Le sigh.
On the downside my cell phone gets no reception through these brick walls. So as soon as my Li+ gathers enough e- I am off. Meeting somewhere where the cellphone is the only point of rendevous and lack of reception is a killer.
