BWAhahaha. Sorry, that really made me smile. Oh so snarky, but we love him anyway. I'm sensing a sort of House/Wilson friendship between Gabriel and Pete, though without the romantic subtext. At least, hopefully without the romantic subtext.

Queue the foreboding music... wondering what Gabe's done that could be so bad. Got involved with someone else while he was off in Europe? Had an affair with a patient? Bribed officials to pass his medical exams? Or just something really stupid like get drunk, put a traffic cone on his head and stand in the street shouting "I'm Harry Potter at a rave!"?

...Okay, maybe not that last one, since he'd probably tell the others and they'd all laugh, but I'm wondering if it's something that is only going to be a problem because Gabriel didn't own up sooner.

And people do get rather stupid when they panic. Good job with the accident scene, it's tense and chaotic at the same time.

Ooh, an exciting ending! I'm considering EMT training myself, actually.
Why am I not surprised that Gabe doesn't like dirt? :P
I like Pete. Gabe needs someone who'll cut through the coldness and listen to him.
I'm eager to know if Cas does show up. (waits for next chapter)
