So I've been realizing that I've been really behind on LJ and checking my f-list very sporadically. Plus I rarely post now, but tbh there isn't much worth posting. I'm still around, though I just haven't kept myself updated very well

I think it's just difficult adjusting from being able to do so many things so easily to doing nothing at home. :\ And oh okay, that was you! Well unfortunately they recently passed a budget in Korea to cut down on native English teachers... I think they're planning to get rid of all the ones in high schools and half the ones in middle schools by next year. But I think elementary schools are still available, though that might mean it will be more competitive. But as far as I can tell, this only applies to public schools, so hagwons are still open. And if anything, letting go of native teachers in regular schools will just up the demand for them at hagwons, so.

Good luck with deciding what you want to do with school/work and everything. ♥ It's definitely not easy. D: You'll eventually figure it out, you have plenty of time. :)

my tumblr is fridgelogic, but be warned- I either don't use it at all, or I use it to ramble about super old anime and kid's shows. and obviously kpop too, but my tumblr is basically very unexciting.

are hagwons sketchy? I heard there was some system of teaching english in korea that was sketchy but I can't remember which one ;;

I haven't been online in a long time only because I've been in germany and busy with work and traveling and attempting to be social with people I don't really like, but whenever I'm working on fic I'm online and I'll probably be more online once I get home in january :3

Lol don't worry, looking at tumblr so far it seems to be a lot of random stuff, some American TV show stuff, some Kpop, and Pokemon. :|

Hagwons can be sketchy; it depends. As long as you're careful with your research and choose a reputable one, not one that was just recently created, you should be fine.
