It's starting to hit me that I'll be leaving Korea in two months.
Today was the first time I officially told my classes I'd be leaving soon. 5-1, in particular, freaked out, and kept asking, "Why? Why? WHY?" They're my favorite class, so it kind of broke my heart. :( I explained that I needed to go back to America to continue studying, which apparently wasn't a good enough reason for them, haha. One of them was like, "You can just transfer to a college in Korea and stay here!!" Another told me to finish studying in America quickly so I could come back to teach. Some of them just thought I'd come back after going home for a bit, and I had to explain that I wasn't coming back, ever. Or for at least a few years, which for elementary school kids, might as well be forever.
School lets out for summer break on July 19th, and subject teachers don't have classes the last week and a half, so I'll be done teaching them in two weeks. There's still summer camp in August, but that will just be the select kids who signed up. I'm not ready to say bye yet. ;-;
... I should start doing everything I've been meaning to do since I got here and never got around to. Like going to Inkigayo or MuCore, lol, because I'm the laziest person ever. I should figure out how to start packing, too. And how to go home. AGH THESE TWO MONTHS ARE GOING TO FLY BY.
