Apgujeong Shenanigans
Went to Apgujeong with puppycadet yesterday. And saw Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Jessica, and Yunho!
But more on that later.
First we went around Rodeo Street for a bit. Right as we passed by the SM Everysing, it started blasting 2PM's "I'll Be Back". We looked up at the building at the exact same time in utter confusion.
Also, we found that there was a Nature Republic (with JYJ's faces plastered all over it) right across from the Everysing, and we postulated that JYJ probably cackled evilly to themselves and gloated about this small triumph. It was kind of ironic that we heard DBSK's "Balloons" blaring from the Nature Republic.
We went to the SM building, just so we knew how the hell to get there first, then we went back after dinner. We heard SNSD's "Hoot" and "Genie" blaring from the practice room, which meant that all of SNSD were practicing inside. We saw Jessica get into a car and leave. It was hard to get a good look at her, since she was already in the car by the time I saw her face, but all I can say is that she's REALLY skinny.
After a while, we saw Hyoyeon and Seohyun come out the front door with a manager. They walked around the side of the building and passed RIGHT by us. And seriously, I don't get how anyone can say Hyoyeon is ugly, because she is SO pretty in real life. She looked right at us and smiled, and went "Wah! :D!!" when she realized we were English-speaking fans. I didn't notice until they'd nearly passed us that Seohyun was behind her, because Seohyun had her head down the entire time. They were both in performance outfits, and I realize that Seo was wearing heels, but jfc she was TALL. I said really useless things to them, like "You're so pretty! And cute! And talented! And pretty?" I completely forgot to tell Seohyun that she needs to marry Yonghwa. :|
Later we saw Yunho come out. There were a lot of fans waiting for him, so he got into the car really quickly and left. He glanced at Cate twice, though, because she was the white girl in a sea of Asian fans.
At some point another girl came out the back, but I could've sworn that girl was Jessica too? But we never saw her go back in between those times. She had long, wavy blonde/orange hair, the bangs tied back into an apple stem ponytail. It might've been Sunny, Tiffany, or Taeyeon? I can't remember who's blonde atm.
We also saw about 3-4 girls and 6-7 guys leaving, all SM trainees. Apparently all the guys are going to be in the new SM boyband coming out this year? The guys came out in two groups. The first group was four guys, one of whom went off the opposite direction from the other three immediately. The other three walked off together. They looked YOUNG, like late middle school to high school-ish? Idk. Then much later, three other guys left; they definitely looked older. They walked off in one direction, then came back, passed us, and went the other direction.
Me: Quick, remember their faces so we can see if they're the same guys if they debut later!
Cate: ... I already forgot their faces.
Me: Yeah, me too. But we should remember who left with who, so they can be our OT3s for when they actually do debut!
Cate: What about the guy who went off by himself?
Me: He's the guy no one ships with anyone. :|
We missed Yoona leaving at some point, much to Cate's chagrin. Changmin was apparently also there, and we waited for him, but it was REALLY cold, so we eventually just decided to leave.
