Below is a list of my favorite episodes from Season Three of the CBS series, "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER". The series was created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas:

FAVORITE EPISODES OF "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" SEASON THREE (2007-2008)



1. (3.08) "Spoiler Alert" - The gang shatters Ted Mosby's impressions of his new girlfriend by telling him she talks too much. Ted responds by turning the tables on his friends, leading all of them to pointing out each other's worst flaws.



2. (3.09) "Slapsgiving" - Marshall Eriksen warns Barney Stinson that the third slap in their "slap bet", established during the previous season, will be coming on Thanksgiving night. Meanwhile, Ted and former girlfriend Robin Scherbatsky sleep together on the night before Thanksgiving in order to avoid discussing the emotional aftermath of their breakup. Orson Bean guest-starred.



3. (3.17) "The Goat" - Barney is upset that he had violated his own "bro code" with a one-night stand with Robin in the previous episode. Meanwhile, both he and Robin nervously anticipates Ted's reaction. Alan Fudge guest-starred.



4. (3.05) "How I Met Everyone Else" - When the gang meets Ted's new crazy girlfriend, they recount their stories of how they had all met each other. But the stories turn out to have several inconsistencies. Abigail Spencer and Phil Lord guest-starred.



5. (3.13) "Ten Sessions" - Ted woos his dermatologist Dr. Stella Zinman. But her receptionist, Abby, seems more interested in him. Sarah Chalke and Britney Spears guest-starred.



Honorable Mention: (3.10) "The Yips" - Barney has trouble hitting on women at the Victoria's Secret after party. In order to "cure" his hangup, he visits the woman who had taken his virginity. Wayne Brady, Stephanie Faracy and Heidi Klum guest-starred.
