FAVORITE EPISODES OF "MONK" SEASON ONE (2002)
1. (1.10) "Mr. Monk Takes a Vacation" - When former San Francisco Police detective-turned-consultant Adrian Monk, his personal assistant Sharona Fleming and her son Benjy have a vacation at a local resort, the latter witnesses a murder and only Monk and Sharona believe him. Polly Draper guest-starred.
2. (1.13) "Mr. Monk and the Airplane" - Monk's first air flight proves to be harder than he had anticipated when he begins to suspect that a fellow passenger had murdered his wife. Garry Marshall, Brooke Adams and Tim Daly guest-starred.
3. (1.04) "Mr. Monk Meets Dale the Whale" - Before dying from a violent attack, a judge places a 911 call and names her attacker - notorious criminal businessman Dale Biederbeck aka "Dale the Whale". Unfortunately, the accused is over 800 pounds and has been bedbound for years. Adam Arkin guest-starred.
4. (1.07) "Mr. Monk and the Billionaire Mugger" - A billionaire software magnate is shot dead by an ex-cop after allegedly mugging the latter and another policeman mysteriously flees the scene. SFPD Captain Leland Stottlemeyer calls in Monk to investigate.
5. (1.01-1.02) "Mr. Monk and the Candidate" - In the series' premiere episode, Monk is called in to investigate an apparent assassination attempt of a mayoral candidate in which one of his bodyguards is killed. Michael Hogan guest-starred.
