Top Five Favorite "HOUSE OF CARDS" Season Four (2016) Episodes

Below is a list of my top five favorite episodes from Season Four of Netflix's series, "HOUSE OF CARDS", a remake of the 1990-1995 BBC miniseries trilogy that was based upon Michael Dobbs' 1989 novel. Produced and developed by Beau Willimon, the series stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright:

TOP FIVE FAVORITE "HOUSE OF CARDS" SEASON FOUR (2016) Episodes



1. "Chapter 43" - President Frank Underwood and the Joint Chiefs of Staff work to plan a dangerous game against Russia, while ignoring First Lady Claire Underwood's attempt to participate in the planning. And later at a campaign rally at Hammond University, Frank is shot by former journalist Lucas Goodwin.



2. "Chapter 48" - At the Democratic National Convention in Atlanta, Frank and his team publicly push for Secretary of State Catherine Durant to be chosen as his running mate, but privately push for a different agenda.



3. "Chapter 42" - While campaigning in his home state of South Carolina, Frank is blind-sided by an angry Claire with a family scandal involving his father's connection with the local Ku Klux Klan.



4. "Chapter 52" - The Underwoods fret over a potential scandal involving journalist Tom Hammerschmidt's investigation into Frank's involvement with the late Zoe Barnes; and hostage situation regarding a terrorist group called the ICO and an American family from Knoxville.



5. "Chapter 46" - The Underwoods commence upon maneuvering the Democratic Party into choosing the right running mate for Frank. Meanwhile, they become aware of Frank's future Republican opponent in the election, New York State Governor Will Conway.
