what's been happenin'
-last night i went to a toga party and played the flute with the east ash street band. oh..college.
-starting october 5, i will be doing coding (looking at news articles and categorizing shit) as opposed to calling (administering surveys.) i'll have to work 30 hours a week instead of 12-16, but it will be SO MUCH BETTER and less boring. i have heard rumors that working from home might be an option. i hope they prove to be true!
-school could be going a lot better. i dunno. i really like what i'm reading for my feminist research class, which hasn't been true for the past two weeks. my thesis is not really coming along because i haven't been able to make it up to jeff city very often to look at girl scout archives. bahhh. it's a dilemma. geography of sexualities is fantastic, but some of the people in that class are pretty f'in dense. aaand us women's political history is whatever. i'm learning a lot. so that's good.
-i am honestly really not a fan of band or flute lessons and contemplating giving up my scholarship for next semester (i mean- when you really think about it all i get is $500 a semester from that which i could make working and spending a LOT less overall time...plus not having to enroll for those courses in the first place, which in itself costs money!) but don't take that to mean i don't still love playing the flute. see the first bullet point.
