California Dreamin'...
On such a winters......early morning.
I thought, since LJ is back up, yay! that I would update really fast before I went to bed.
So I was talking to Dennis on Thursday night and I was all excited about going to see him in March, and I mentioned something about not being home for the holiday (Easter) cause I would be there....when all of a sudden he messages me back with "You're going to be here for Easter?" It turns out that his whole entire family is coming to visit him then. I was totally bummed! So, after much deliberation....well not really a whole lot, cause I don't want to go during the summer...I decided that I would try to go in February, during Mid-Winter Break, instead of March during Spring break. I just needed the fundage to do it. I was planning on using my tax return to go, because barring anything stupid that the federal gov't tries to pull on me (hold on while I knock on some wood) I should get everything I paid in federal and state taxes back, which is a substantial amount of money that would pay for my entire trip. My mom, the awesome woman that she is (remember a couple of days ago when I cursed her....lol stuff changes so fast) has decided to give me some and lend me the rest. Sooooooooo I am going to California on probably February 12th, my cousin hasn't given me the buddy pass # yet to reserve my tickets, and will be back...I'm going to say the 19th. Yay for that. It's really win/win. Dennis gets to spend time with his family on Easter, and I get to go to California a month early. Which is cool cause it's cold as SHIT here right now, and I could use some California weather, even if it is in the 60's.
