QCTO's first show in Long Beach at Que Sera. We tried to keep the set a little more energetic tonight. Ironically enough, it would have been better had we play a few slower songs. The other bands we played with played some pretty slower bluesy songs. The audience wasn't as into us as last night's crowd which was also interesting since this was an actual garage rock show. I guess it comes down to expecting the unexpected. It didn't matter though. Because despite the lacklustre audience reaction, we still tore the roof off. Long Beach just needs to to learn that The Chinese Take-Outs are real rock n roll. And we had fun playing. Some of the songs actually sounded pretty damn tight.
The only other real highlight of the night was the fuckin' hot bearish skinhead bouncer. Can you say "goddamn!"?
Next show (so far, but we'll probably book something before then): The Airliner, March 24th.
