happy new year!
babies sure do know how to get their feet up in your ribs....yep, they're really good at that.
so i went home for the holidays and had a great time! i felt so cared for and loved! i didn't want to leave.
unfortunately the one week i'm there they repeal the smoking ban so i didn't get to go out with any of my friends. i wasn't about to expose baby Alice to all that second-hand smoke. plus preggos should probably not be out at bars anyhow. but i did get to see the core friends. satara even got to feel the baby kick! being there made me seriously consider moving back. i would just have so much more love and support raising this baby if I were there not here....
the pregancy continues to be very easy on me. the new thing is acid stomach and heartburn. its very mild but acts up at the worst times, like during my yoga class. any downward-facing pose makes me want to vomit, but i just breathe through it.
new years was spent at a friends' party. it was fun. i got to dance which looks really funny with this baby belly. but mostly i was bored watching everyone else drink. turns out alcohol does make everything more fun!
