And so begins a month of me attempting to post every damn day! I cannot wait for those of you who aren't already sick of me to get sick of me!
But first things first! Don't assume that I have your address!!! Hit me up with it in
this poll if you want a holiday card of me and my roommates doing something utterly ridiculous!
Day 1 on my
advent calendar.

Prompt: best Christmas episodes of television.
For
raindropfloss “Friends, Ross as an Armadillo, classic comedy.”
“Nah, too easy. What about The Wonder Years when Kevin wants to buy a gift for Winne-”
“Or *M.A.S.H.*, when Hawkeye dresses as Santa for the kids, but inevitably has to face his duties and save another soldier on the front line.” Abed says in that spitfire way he has about him.
Troy isn’t buying it. “Man, who’s even seen M.A.S.H.?”
“Hmm, you’re probably right, our generation isn’t one for classic television, no matter how applicable it is to our current situation. How about-” And Abed pauses, lost for a classic Christmas episode of television. This has never happen to him bef-
“How about we compromise. Seinfeld.” Troy says, smug, like he’s discovered the meaning of life.
“Festivus?” Abed tries out the word on his tongue, allows the idea to roll around in his brain. “Classic comedic relief nestled between truly heartfelt moments between friends. I like it. Let’s do it.”
Troy smiles and finds the episode online, downloads it.
They sit together on Abed’s futon, maybe too close and watch George get wrapped up in a scheme to send fake donation cards. They get so wrapped up in the plot that when Troy’s hand slips to Abed’s thigh...
They both let it slide.
I signed online today to this:
BNLXPhile12: What's goin on this morning?
Dennis: Not much so far. Heard that Tek might be going to the Dodgers...
BNLXPhile: WHAT?!?!?!?! FROM WHERE!?!?!
Check out the Hot Stove roundup.
I understand that this wouldn't be the worst thing for the Red Sox, rotation-wise. Even as a back up catcher, Tek really hasn't been on top of his game; he's not superb offensively either. But, honestly in this case, I think trading him would be a huge kick in the nads to fans who've been with this team forever and ever. I'm aware that I'm overreacting a bit; just because the Dodgers are interested doesn't mean they're going to get him, but if Theo fucks this up for me... O Captain, my Captain!
I don't know what Teva is thinking; as a brand, I'm not attracted to their image at all, and find them neither fashionable nor comfortable. But I understand the appeal, to some. However,
this puts them right over the edge. What's with the trend of companies fashioning incredibly ridiculous takes on essential products?
Does anyone watch this show?
You guys, Raising Hope is funny and sweet and crass and will make your family seem so utterly normal. Oh, I love it, love it, love it. The episodes are all up on Hulu; I BEG you to give this show a chance.
...and one of the faculty came in with an X-Files postcard book from the "way back when" that he found in his son's old room and was going to throw it out...
I already have one, but yeah, how can I pass up an X-Files postcard book? Come on now!
