Thanks to dashakay for the head's up about this.

A user's experience with privacy settings on livejournal. Apparently, a member of the livejournal staff managed to view a private entry and leave an offensive and creepy comment on a user's post. UN. COOL.

Well, this has me really paranoid about what I've shared on my personal journal, especially because I was much more open about myself when I was a teen.

Last evening, I watched a documentary, The Bridge about people who commit suicide by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Director Eric Steel positioned cameras on the bridge, claiming to the bridge committee that he was making a film about the mysterious nature of the Golden Gate; in reality, he caught 23 of the 24 suicides committed from the bridge that year. It's an intensely emotional film, but also incredibly fascinating; it's not only a commentary on suicide, but largely a brash exploration of schizophrenia and mental disorders in general. It's on Hulu here.

"Wannabe". (That is, Canadian "Wannabe".)

Fuck you, SVU. Seriously, what the hell? This is no longer a program about sex crimes, but a farce that is primarily overrun with plots about outlandish conspiracies and elaborate, nonsensical crimes. Not so much this episode, but it was disjointed and over-scored and dry. Oh, it's also just become a platform for guest stars to run amok in an attempt for an Emmy nod. But, hai, Liz Lemon's/Catherine Willow's mother.

Oh, and I'm also sick of the ridiculously AWFUL photoshop attempts. Seriously, grab any icon maker from livejournal have them bang out some mock ups, because the graphics on this show are completely atrocious.

I don't know why I bother to bitch about any of this; I'll remain on this rapidly-sinking ship until the end.
