For Scully's 50th badforthefish and I decided to do something a little different.

It ummm... didn't go according to plan and our first attempt took over 4 hours

Our second foray into the world of animation met with a little more success however.

Endless patience as in: "So, now you want flower pots filled with earth and bamboo sticks to make a pulley system to lower the cow down? Seriously?"

It was a lot of fun though, even if I felt a lot like Ben from Parks and Recs and his claymation attempts at times.

It's the kind of hobby that requires quite learning curve. Mulder had the cow landing on him at first and we wanted Scully to lift it off him. But no amount of blue tack and invisible strings could pull that off.

Fun fact: chinapatterns had brought proper studio lighting, which made my living room looks like something out of Duane Barry from the outside.

Lol, well I left my old and stone weighted tissue stuffed holders with bamboo at home!

Yes the original plan didn't work out - must develop a rig of sine sort, animating characters who fall over and who's legs don't move ain't easy.

We will have to do a making of addition next time. The setup did look good :)

More to come, there are a lot of unused items/ figures... Just need a few days hopefully next time we can add a few effects but we wanted to so something for Scully's 50th :) Thanks for the feedback x
