i decided i give up .. i dont care anymore ... whatever happens, happens and i am not going to do anything about it ... i just dont care

got home from D.C. Tuesday night at 9 p.m. it was sooo much fun and i want to go back now .. i love the snow and cold weather!!!!! not seeing grass for 4 days was amazing and beautiful .. so many great pictures ... met some cool people and some nice nuns and priests (but most of the priest/brothers were mean!!!)

so we left Saturday morning around 11 .. on the plane was St. Dominic's CYO and a bunch of old people... got to D.C. and it was snowing!!! we were all going crazy in the street!! got to the hotel saw the Jesuit boys .. go figure that we would find them right away .. lol ... that night we went to union station and eat and shopped then off to the metro to look at the monuments ... that was an interesting trip .. so cold walking blocks in the snow .. saw the Lincoln, Korean, Washington, WWII monuments and the frozen reflection pool ... we got too cold and headed back to the hotel and did not see the other monuments in the area ..
Sunday we went to mass at the national cathedral, which we learned was not a catholic church but we went anyway .. we sat in the row the president and his family sat in at Reagan funeral .. it was so cool,.. we also had a women priest .. that was weird and interesting ... after that we went outside to feel the 1 degree wind chill ... man that was cold ... headed back to the hotel and warmed up ... we changed and went to speakers who talked about regretting their abortions .. that was powerful and sad stories .. we met Roe from Roe vs. wade ... and a daughter of a saint (who had just become a saint) .. then we shopped around the vendors and went out to eat ...
Monday we went to Arlington cemetery and saw the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and saw them change guards ... JKF and Jackie O burials spots .. and a few other things i dont remember .. then off to the March for Life rally and march ... rally was boring so we went to the street to get ready for the march .. saw a donkey with the democrats for life .. he was so cute!!! .. we waited for 2 hours in the cold snow .. so when the march finally started we walked 3 blocks to the metro station and left .. there was no way we could have walked the whole mile and a half ... that night went to Georgetown and shopped and eat ...
Tuesday went to the holocaust museum ... it had real things from that time like the shoes they wore .. some beds they slept in .. a train that carried some people to the camps .. the photos and videos were just so sad ... left there and went to the place were they made money... saw them making 100 dollar bills which was cool ... then off to lunch and the Smithsonian’s … saw the first lady’s dress, the hope diamond, Kermit the frog, Dorothy’s red shoes from wizard of oz, and a bunch of cool jewelry, and some other cool things .. I took a picture next to some boxers that said ‘proud to be a republican’… teehee … next me Meagan and Lauren went to the wrong metro station.. we cant help there was two with the same name … then off to the airport to head home …
The whole trip was so amazing .. there are so many inside jokes among the 9 of us .. and Mrs. landeck told us how she almost killed George Bush .. haha … imagine how different the world would be if she had hit him with her car .. hmmm … glad she didn’t!!! I cant wait to go back and see the things we didn’t see and see what it looks like with grass and sun!!!
This is all I can remember about the trip .. but it was fun and I miss D.C.
