Quick, Quick, Like a Bunny!
Life has been crazy busy and I realize it has been almost two months since I posted! So much has been going on - let's see if I can sum it all up:
I've been taking riding lessons again!!!! It has been a few years since I've ridden yet, getting back in the saddle, I was a better rider than I've ever been. The class is an Adult Beginner class (i.e. very cheap) which was advertised as walk/trot but since week 2 they have let me canter. I am in heaven anytime I ride. Amazing!
Work has has a big change. The new Cafe on campus opened. It serves Starbucks, upscale salads, paninis, and cold sandwiches, and a full upscale smoothie menu. I am the lead supervisor there. We just opened last Wednesday so last week I put in 6 days and like 60+hrs. Things are going exceedingly well but I am stuck on night until we get our new night supervisors trained. Hopefully only a month or so.
I started jogging. I am on month 3 of Mon, Wed, Fri. jogs. I have a good jogging buddy so we keep each other going. I'm up to about 4 mi. at 10min/mi. I know it's not that impressive but remember I smoked forever. Who knew I'd love jogging so much.
