In a Days Inn in Faribault, MN
yea, that's right...
my parents and i left on Tuesday morning. drove to Lincoln, NE and stayed the night at an unbelievably terrible Super 8.
drove the rest of the way to Faribault, MN today. my brothers boarding school is here. we stopped by earlier. for starters, my brothers room was a giant disaster. my parents have given me grief about my last couple apartments/dorm room, but they were all at least 230% better than my brothers dorm.
there was an awards ceremony and this weird thing that was sort of like that military thing with the guns (slapping them and flipping them around and stuff) that was a little cool.
tomorrow we're doing breakfast, visiting a friend of the family to drop of some cookies from his mom (he's like a junior in college) and then back to the school for like dinner and some slide show or something... i think i am going to miss Lost, so that's a bummer.
friday is... i dunno what, and his graduation in the evening. saturday we are leaving for Kalamazoo, MI. he is going to western michigan university next year and he has orientation monday and tuesday. hopefully we'll find time to go see the new Indy movie, but we'll see what happens.
tuesday we're driving him to the airport in Chicago and he is flying home (he being my brother) and then my mom, dad and i are driving back to colorado. it'll be around a 15ish hour drive. i will probably be home on June 4 in the evening.
my furniture got delivered on Monday. it's pretty awesome. a couple issues though. first, the coffee table has a pretty big gnash on it, so they're going to replace it. second, the large end table still isn't in stock, so i will be getting that probably not for another couple weeks.
the couch and chair are both totally awesome though, so that's good.
well, i'm tired, so i think i'm going to get in bed and maybe play a little video games (DS or PSP) and call it a night... yea.
