i'm here
so i finally made it, i'm in ct. my mom and i almost died tonight thanks to ernesto and his strong winds, strong rain, scary people on the road and the darkness (esp on the george washington bridge eek). oh well, i'm surviving thanks to the many texts i get from my most wonderful cody (i know that's super corny but i'm kind of trying to be, but he is wonderful)and calls to one another.
people kept saying that the northern route would be so boring and flat but it was actually really beautiful. colorado and the rockies were amazing, and seeing the flatness of the US is really different when you live in the mountains or more hilly areas. oh well, i could go on and on, but it was nice, except coming into hotels every night between 11 pm and 1 am. and no cruise control on my truck, but i guess it's good exercise for my calves haha.
oh well, i move in on monday, start school wednesday.
