It's been a while
It's been a while since I posted. Work has been busy. Nothing too much new going on. I finally got my personal laptop fixed. I was having problems with the battery not charging and the power cutting in and out. I bought a new power adapter, but that didn't help. It turns out it needed a new power jack. I took it to microcenter first and they told me they would have to replace the motherboard for $550 and that they had laptops on sale for as low as $400. Tempting, but all my data was on my old laptop and I hadn't backed anything up. I found a great local place called Chipheads that replaced the power jack for $189 and now my laptop is as good as new. Now I can do taxes this weekend - yippee. . .
Don't remember if I posted it or not, but Cipro cleared up whatever I got in Mexico and I've been great since then.
Today I worked from home which was nice since the weather was crappy and I had nothing on the calendar and everything I needed to do I could do from home.
THe hubby had a long day at work yesterday and today since he was the lone helpdesk person, so comfort food has been the order of the day for dinner the last two nights. Last night was homemade turkey pot pie and tonight is chicken and rice casserole with mushrooms.
THe hubby is home now so I should snuggle him.
