Even though my lesson planning isnt' done, I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I went to the school to see the dance concert and show my support for some of my students and soccer players. Then I was supposed to meet up with Brian, but by the time that he called me, it was like 11pm and I had to meet up with my aunt Saturday morning at like 7:30.
On Saturday, my aunt and I went to Hoover Dam. Yes, I finally made it there. It was pretty cool. Then we met up with my uncle for lunch. I came home and napped and then we went out for Becky's birthday. We started at a local PT's Pub. It was pretty cool. It was the first time that I've had a shot of tequila. I had it with training wheels, so it cut down on the burning. We then went to go meet up with some of her friends at a gay bar. It was interesting, to say the least. Monci and I didn't last there too long, and then she dropped me off at the Hard Rock while Becky stayed with her friends. I met up with Brian and his friend Roger. We hung out at the Hard Rock sports book before heading to a local club called Beaches. I had a pretty good time. I ended up getting in at 4:45 this morning. Man, was I tired when I got in.
Well, hopefully I can get together again with Brian tonight before he takes off home again. It was nice to see him again after such a long time. Plus, it's really the first time that I've gone out since I've been here.
Well, I suppose I should really get some type of a lesson down on paper to be on the safe side.
