The play is done. Part of me feels as though I let the side down. It's not the sort of role I particularly excel in, but it seemed to go down rather well. There was an unexpected moment of laughter in a scene between me and Dana. I had a line 'if I didn't leave you for another woman, I'm certainly not going to drop dead just to leave you.' Which is amusing, I'll grant you. But it got a laugh. And Dana's reaction to it got a laugh, and we just held that moment of 'Oh shit, she's angry and I'm in trouble' for as long as we could. It was great. This is the sort of thing that reminds me why I like theatre and performing for an audience. It's that interplay of performers and audience that make it special.
Yesterday I got myself sent home from work. Just felt awful. This dizziness malarkey is no longer fun.
