let's see...wednesday, went out. i'd never had kale before, yummy. free drinks again. thursday, went out. mmm, seaweed salad. still haven't heard about the job i want. might have to take the job i'm so so about in the meantime. i don't get why i haven't heard from them. i guess i'll send them an email next week and see what's up.
this morning, got up too early and went to the great wall for the completionand dedication of a torah to the beijing jewish community. it was hazy, but it was still neat to see. i still can't get over it-i was at the great wall of china. twice! have three new mosquito bites. ugh. scratch. hopefully i won't get anymore. i don't want my legs to look all nasty for sunday night.
in the afternoon, we added some new members to our family. we now have two little yellow frogs and two baby sea turtles. they're acclimating to their new home as we speak. they are so cute. we need names for them. apparently, one of the turtles will be named henry. other than that, i'm taking suggestions. i think the frog pair should have chinese names, but i dont know what they should be yet...
