so there will be a recount in WI, MI, and PA.
I've seen a number of "it doesn't matter" and "get over it" and "sour grapes" sort of posts regarding the idea of doing a recount. Statistically, it is very very likely that the recount won't change anything. This is not a reason not to do it. Stein has every right to request it, and if she has the money to foot the cost, there is no reason she should be stopped.
There are problems with the electoral system in the US, a number of which were exposed during the 2000 election, and a number of which have been exposed recently (machine error, lack of records, etc). Could these add up to enough issues to flip an election? Hell, probably not. Should they be fixed? fuck yes. To claim to be a shining example of how freedom works and be in reality an example of how ogliarchy works instead is hypocrisy. Audit the election, verify it, and be done with it. If he won, fine, he won. Go back to just fighting him on every stupid thing he tries to do.
Inconvenience should not be an excuse to ignore democracy.
