Being engaged in not only my writing but in class
Waiting till I got into Honours Comp I was worth it. Oh my gosh, the teacher engaged not only wht we read, but whatit possibily meant ... and how to apply it to our writing!
Oh this class will be hard, yes and I'll probably go overboard more than I should but damn! Rod is engaged, challenged, and in a room full of people who aren't stupid. I can say didactic and everyone knows what I just said and meant!
Yep, going to enjoy that class.
Meanwhile German 1 is going to kick my ass. I feel like I am days behind and I've dutifully done the "4-column" method ... though it's hard for me to "get it." I don't have context. I'm very frustrated because the teacher says it thre times and then acts like we are supposed to have it memorized and mastered and wants us to use it. Not just one or two phrases but like extended multiple conversations. Most of the class took German in HS, I didn't ... didn't have even the opportunity. So I'm really having difficulty. It's like its only barely sinking in.
Anthropology ... standard pedagogidigal lecture. Interesting but not really overwhelming.
Math, at least I like the teacher ... though I will have to get used to the way she does homework.
Whole story on my Fitness for Life this weekend hopefully.
