Today has been interesting.
Jess and I awoke around 4pm, in order to make ourselves look pretty before venturing out. We had been told Loblaw's Boy would be working 1-7pm. Walked to bus stop, had a few AY-OH sightings. Then, we jumped on a bus, and headed towards said Loblaw's. Now, first problem arose when we arrived near said place, and weren't sure if we should get off, or continue on hoping to get closer to the Loblaw's. We decided to stay on the bus, which kept going, and going, and going. . .all the way to Lincoln Field.
Finally we got off, and wandered around for a bit until a wonderful man told us to get on another bus to go back. So we did, and finally ended up at our destination: Loblaw's at College Square. We walked into the Loblaw's, and immediately started our stake out.
Second problem: All Loblaw's boys looked alike! And since I have not met said boy who I decided to stalk, it was a bit of a problem. Well, make that a large problem, considering half the boys had no name tags! Grrr.. .needless to say, there were two boys I was convinced were him, and I'm still not sure which one was. Or maybe it was someone else entirely! It was quite frustrating, and it's still a mystery. Both of them gave us weird looks. .although that isn't surprising considering our staring, trying to determine name tags.
So, accepting our unsuccessful fate, we got a few groceries and headed back home.
Lesson learned: Stalking is harder than it looks. And very risky, too. I should have brought binoculars.
