There's a thunderstorm!!! I love them so much, this is wonderful. We had the first this morning at around 2am, Jessi and I had seen lightning and heard the thunder, and we were so happy! We frolicked to our balcony and stood outside, watching the torrential downpour and laughing at the poor people who were outside and had to make a run for it.
Also, this was the first afternoon in a while where I woke up and it was not horrendously hot, thanks to my trusty fan as well as the colder weather. This does put a damper on my plans to go food shopping at Farmer's Pick, though. .*sigh*
Mel comes tomorrow, which will be exciting. I'm a bit scared of going to the train station alone for fear of getting lost, but I went all the way downtown and back with no problem, so I'm a bit more confident. If I never post again, though, you'll know I'll be wandering the streets of Ottawa. No fear, though, I eventually will becoming quite a happy bag lady.
Jessi also may be coming home this weekend! Those Tim Horton's nazis have given her the weekend off.

I can't wait to show her the magnificent sights of Brockvegas.
