Countdown untill repeat: 25 Days.
As stated in the last entry, this past weekend were spent in
Philadelpiha playing int he Eastern Water Polo League, in which the
Rochester are currently undeafeated. Yeah, bitches. It was a pelesant
suprise after going down there without a few key starters. We were all
really pumped though, there was also incredible team chemistry,
something just clicked, and we rocked. So saturday we played against
three teams, and played all the games well, we stepped up a lot. Then
we went top check into our hotel, which was going to be really nice,
until we learned that they had overbooked, and even though we had
alreasdy paid they got us rooms at a cheaper hotel, with no refund. It
sucked, but we didn't really care all that much. We went to our new
hotel, which was further away from the Rocky steps, causing us to be
unable to run them. Pretty much everyone went out to a bar near the
hotel, ecept Seth and I. He took me to a jazz club that he goes to
whenever he's in Philly, it was amazing. The band wrapped up at around
1:30AM, and we headed back to the hotel. On the walk back we were
following two girls holding hands, and they were rather attractive.
Then they kissed, and Seth made us stop at a good distance so we could
watch unnoticed. It was a short kiss, so Seth was disappointed. We
continued walking and ended up wating for a light to change next to
them, after we all crossed they were about to head in the opposite
direction of us, so Seth decided to ask if they would kiss again for
us. They replied only if we did, so we said oh well, and were on our
way. We both turned to look back like 30 seconds later and they were
definitely making out, like in the middle of the street. We went back
to the hotel and went to sleep, being awaken about half an hour later
when the other five guys returned to the room. Yeah 7 of us shared a
room, it was mad cheap that way. So Seth shared a bed with John
Zaffino, and I slept on the floor in my sleeping bag, and for like 45
minutes we jsut all talked and joked, and it was fun. We woke up Sunday
morning, pumped for our game against the Navy Aquatic Club team, which
are basically a bunch of 15-18 year old fast swimmers who're good at
polo. So we were pumped about beating up little kids too. We won the
game, and it was great, because we were supposed to lose all our games,
instead we won them all. The ride back wasn't too bad. Then i got to
hang out with Amanda sunday night, and it was the perfect end to an
incredible weekend.
P.S. I love Philadelphia, and I will definitely be visiting there for a
weekend sometime in the next year, when I won't have to play polo the
whole time.
