Into the Woods and Out of the Woods...

Last night was the first performance of "Into the Woods," it went pretty well. There were plenty of rough patches, but I think when ever we started to drag or fall apart, we were able to pick ourselves right back up again. Note: It is not easy veing a conductor, and it is not the conductors fault if the actors miss cues or lines and they have to jump forward or back int he music. Also, there is no way for them to know if they have to vamp or not to cover mistakes. The conductor is not supposed to be watching the show, so much as the orchestra. How many days did they even have to practice with you? I'm guessing not a lot.

Actually... we were giving him all of his cues and not dropping the lines that he needed. So don't be so quick to defend him. He does actually suck. He was missing cues like none other.

But the second performance went much better, so its ok...
