back at interlochen
wow, thanksgiving break was good. it was a well deserved break for all of us. when i got home i felt like i could breath a little better. for the first time in a while i felt like i could really relax. seeing friends was very nice as well. it was beautiful. it was like we hadn't been gone at all. everything just started back up where we left off. no awkwardness, no nothin. something i realized i missed a lot was being in my house for just long enough to get some alone time and then having friends drop by unexpectedly. it was good to have my house be a sort of safe haven for everyone. it felt good to wake up with everyone.
my roommate just told me this joke:
sarah: how come there were only 49 contestants for the "miss ebonics USA" contest?
me: umm.. because they ain't got nobody up in alaska.
sarah: no, because nobody wanted to run tobe "miss 'i-da-ho'."
me: ahahaha.
yep, funny jokes. oh yeah, i heard from kat that the "hot tub night" pictures turned out very nice.. well, except for a shot of chris's ass. but who wouldn't like a picture of chris's ass? i certainly would love to have one.. framed, in my shower.
i agree with everyone that it really does feel like i'm wasting time here until christmas break. i've been mildly productive since i've been back, but not as much as i'd like to be. i bet the stretch between x-mas break and spring break is gonna suck... oh well. maybe one of us will have a life changing experience. and i'll spontaneously inherit a million dollars and all of our problems will be taken care of for at least the next 10 years. can't wait. until then, i have to write my french pen pal and practice.
