Beach Day! Woot Woot

Jul 27, 2005 00:53

Such an early wake up. Well I got up and got ready. Packed my towel and clothes. After we waited for Steven to get out of the shower and get ready we loaded up the truck and left. We stopped at a gas station and got some breakfast. I'm not use to being up so early and I was about to be sick if I didn't eat. So I got me something small a dough nut. Umm Yum. Sike. So nasty I shouldn't have ate it. I made myself worse.

We went to grandma's. That's where we were meeting everyone so we could lead out to the beach. Mom said she would lead after the whole Zoo trip experience. So after everyone there got ready we all loaded up. Aunt Chery, Mom, Steven, and I in our truck, and Papa, Grandma, Uncle Mark, Jaime, and Hailey in there car. It was gonna take a while to get there. So we are on the road. My head phones on, sitting in the 3rd row of seats (all to myself), and listening to everything I possibly could.

It didn't seem to take as long as I thought it did. It took like an hour and a half. After we got somewhat in town, we stopped at McDonald's for brunch. It was breakfast. I got a tea and that was it. I wasn't hungry and I don't eat breakfast. Even though I did earlier only cause I had too. After we all ate we left and headed to the Aquarium. I loved the drive there. I loved all the beach houses and all the colors. It was beautiful. Then we were there. Hailey got to see the fishes. All I can say is It SUCKED. I have never been so disappointed in an Aquarium. The best past was the little alligators. They were scary. LoL. Haiy didn't like them one bit. The kids there were so rude. They ran into you, they cut right in front of you at the tanks. One girl she got so close to me and touched me and I jumped cause she scared the shit out of me. I scared her too. LoL. I was ready to get the hell out of there and so was mom. We were not happy at all to be there. All the teen boys and some of the older teens but younger adults were staring at me. I felt weird.

After we all talked about how lame that experience was we headed to the beach. WOOT WOOT. I love the beach. I love it I love it I love it. I was so happy yo be there. I took my clothes off and ran to the ocean. LoL. I stayed in there for so long. I didn't want to get out. My aunt, Jaime, Steven, and I were all jumping waves and having a good time. I was having a blast. It was hours later when my papa decided it was time to head home. So we all ran to go get cleaned up. It took about an hour itself to get cleaned with all of us girls.

We all crowded back in to our cars and headed back. I wanted to stop at Wing 1st. Had to get my Corona bikini. And I got it too. it was like 30 bucks. I didn't care. Shoot. Then we left. We didn't stop for anything on the way back. We got back home to grandma and papas house and ordered pizza. Well I got chicken cause I don't eat pizza. Yuck. We stayed for a couple hours. Then we headed home. After being out in the sun all day and being in the water we were all ready to go to bed. And that's exactly where we all headed when we got home.

I had a wonderful day. It was the best. I got to go to the BEACH. YEA hope everyone had as good a day as I did. Bye guys

"Wide Open Spaces"

Who doesn't know what I'm talking about
Who's never left home, who's never struck out
To find a dream and a life of their own
A place in the clouds, a foundation of stone

Many precede and many will follow
A young girl's dream no longer hollow
It takes the shape of a place out west
But what it holds for her, she hasn't yet guessed

[Chorus:]
She needs wide open spaces
Room to make her big mistakes
She needs new faces
She knows the high stakes

She traveled this road as a child
Wide eyed and grinning, she never tired
But now she won't be coming back with the rest
If these are life's lessons, she'll take this test

[Repeat Chorus]
She knows the high stakes

As her folks drive away, her dad yells, "Check the oil!"
Mom stares out the window and says, "I'm leaving my girl"
She said, "It didn't seem like that long ago"
When she stood there and let her own folks know

[Repeat Chorus]
She knows the highest stakes
She knows the highest stakes
She knows the highest stakes
She knows the highest stakes
