Aw. I love James' dialogue.
“Oh, him?” Jack said. “Not my brother. Not even my second cousin. Just some poor fool I picked up in Algiers. He’d been sitting on that map for years, never done a thing with it. I dazzled him with the promise of a little adventure and next thing you know, we’re hopping on your fine vessel. Do what you like with him. I was planning on cutting him loose once we’d reached the island, anyway. Just-wait till the right moment . . .
