scruffnfeathersMeet Castiel. He's an angel. Mostly. Kind of. He's supposed to be, but there was this whole thing where he's turned against Heaven to help prevent the apocalypse (it's a long story) and has been slowly -- and not so slowly -- losing his angelic mojo as a result.
Some fun facts!
- He's from Heaven (duh). He refers to the Christian god as his father. And he means it literally.
- He's from Supernatural, that show about the two brother in lurve who travel around saving people, hunting things, and accidentally trying to end the world.
- The mechanics and habits of humanity baffle him. More so now that he has to actually do and experience some of it.
- He's learning how to be human from Chuck Bass and Dean Winchester, so his perspective might be slightly skewed.
- He's a virgin (AU weekend doesn't count, and besides which, he and Priestly are Not Talking about what may or may not have happened on that beach)
- He's a hardcore BAMF when he wants to be. And a bitter, depressed drunk.
- He runs Our Lady of Fandom, and gives sermons on Thursdays when I remember to post and can think of a topic for him to rant about (or a way to skirt around him having a topic to rant about). These sermons usually just confuse people.
- At some point, whenever I get my crap together, he might start running a Bingo night.
- He has wings. They're invisible.
- He has a lot of cats. They fascinate him.
- Even mostly human, he's slightly more perceptive to things than other people -- in canon he can tell when Dean is not actually the Dean from his present day -- but not much more than that.
- He's no longer quite incapable of naming things? But he still sucks at it. So some of the cats are named, like, Cat 1 and Cat 2.
- He has scars across his chest in the shape of an angel banishing sigil. Should you see it, it's best not to ask about it.
notmyownageMeet Claudia Donovan. She's bubbly. She's adorable. Even -- or perhaps because of -- when she tries to overclock the toaster in the common room.
More fun facts!
- She's from Minneapolis.
- Also, from Warehouse 13, Syfy's show about secret service agents working at a giant warehouse in South Dakota that houses artifacts of unimaginable and bizarre power, although being pre-series, she doesn't know about that yet.
- She's played by the wonderful Allison Scagliotti. Who is adorable and bubbly. And campaigning to get cast as Cassie from Hack & Slash.
- She's fifteen years old, and has been a ward of the state of Minnesota for the last five years. She's not shy about this.
- She doesn't know about the warehouse, yet.
- She's a physicist. But she's not big on theory -- she prefers to tinker.
- She builds stuff, like a trebuchet or a shrapnel gun, and messes with stuff, like her clock radio or your character's cellphone or image inducer (only with permission)
- She's even likely to be successful with those things.
- She's deadly with a power drill.
- And may not react well to people wearing masks
- She works at Book Haven on Monday, and will sign up for pretty much any class with the words "Science" or "Mathematics" in the title.
- She lost her parents at a young age, and was subsequently raised by her much older brother -- who then disappeared in a lab accident.
- As such, she's not going to understand if you complain about your family. At least you have them, right?
- She's recently (almost) successfully recreated the experiment that made her brother disappear.
- As a result, she'll be visited occasionally by her brother in the form of a glowy gold ball of ghosty preppy older brotherness.
- Unfortunately, this drains her life energy and gives her debilitating nose bleeds. So, you know, that's fun.
- You know that saying about curiosity killing cats? Yeah, that might as well have been written for her.
- She's very friendly -- when she's not busy being kind of insane.
- I play her as being bisexual (this has not been established in canon, but it hasn't been contradicted there, either)
- She will someday snog Fargo from Eureka. While fighting off evil repair robots with an improvised light saber. And then while being trapped in a 1947 mine field.
- This is because her show is awesome. And so is she.
lovemykiltMeet Priestly. He's an alum. He's from Ten Inch Hero. He's in Santa Cruz. He's a laid back punk rocker influenced by hippies and he's going to be starting culinary school soon.
. . . That's pretty much all you're likely to need to know about him for the time being.
bellatempleHi! I'm Bella, aka Iz, (formerly) aka Nadia, aka . . . well, I'm open to nicknaming, let's leave it at that.
I'm on crack.
Not literally. But I am kind of insane and come up with somewhat bizarre ideas that I like to shaaaare -- when I've got time.
And even more fun facts!
- I'm 29 years old (barely) and kind of in denial about being a grown-up
- I'm on the East Coast, USA, which some folks hereabout claim to be the One True Timezone.
- On the other hand, I work evenings, and as such tend to be more on a West Coast, USA kind of time table.
- I'm no longer working two jobs (woo!), but now tend to madly spend my weekends Doing Things. This may taper off eventually.
- I'm totally poke-able for interaction, with pretty much anyone.
- I'm pretty laid back, and up for talking OOCly with pretty much anyone, too.
- I'm NotISaidDuck on AIM -- but I don't AIM from work, so that's only really late evenings when I remember to turn the sucker on. I'm almost always reachable by email, though, assuming I'm not asleep or off Doing Things.
- I make stuffed things out of socks. Sometimes for charity. Which has little to no bearing on the game except that it's one of the Things I might otherwise be Doing.
