That's a lotta rain
Another lovely day forced off work (woohoo!) but it's looking as though I'd best spend it shopping for a boat. Or a raft. Or even a log to cling to. That's a lotta rain out there.
SPN last night. No major spoilers. Some lovely Sam/Dean moments and a cameo by Teryl Rothery! Sweet! But overall the ep was disappointing. I've come to expect more from them.
My body still aches from working til 9 last night. It usually takes me a day or two to get over those nights. Ouch. When I looked at the schedule the night before and yesterday morning, I had high hopes of things moving faster than scheduled and me getting home by 6 or 7. Maybe even a case would cancel but at least a few had the potential to finish sooner than planned. And a few cases did do just that. Then another case would take twice as long as scheduled. Bah. I will say that I was done before the poor slob who got stuck doing the two robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomies. They were still going in there when I left. And in another room but I think that was the add-on room (cases that didn't make it onto the schedule the day before but needed to be done yesterday). If I'd had to work today, I probably would have had one of the guys on call get me out earlier but I have no problem staying late so long as I don't have to be back at 7AM.
