(no subject)
Here's tonight's prompt. I know, I'm falling back onto JD/Cox, but heaven help me, I just find them so darn adorable together. Though granted, this drabble in and of itself isn't really slashy, but could definitely go somewhere if elaborated.
The deep glower which held control over Perry Cox's face was nothing if not obvious as the doctor stormed into the hospital, teeth grinding as he looked around. Anyone with a whit of common sense could clearly tell that this was quite possibly the worst time one could pick to talk to the man about anything, no matter how important. However, JD, unfortunately lacking in this, approached his mentor casually, oblivious to the rage that threatened to boil over.
"Hey Dr. Cox, how's it going?" He asked, smiling coolly. Perry turned towards him, his face a mask of livid disbelief.
"Are you kidding me, Newbie? Y'know, when I came in here as grumpy as could be, I was hoping that no one would be stupid enough to bug me. But you see, the problem is, I'd forgotten just how stupid you are. So guess what? You're gonna get it now. I'm gonna let you hear all my bitching and moaning about my life, and if I get so much as one word that even resembles the advice that I so desperately do not want from you, I'm going to beat you over the head with a clipboard until you are nothing buy a bloody mess."
JD tried to flinch, but only succeeded in managing a weak sort of shake as he nodded at the older doctor. He had to bite his cheeks heard to prevent himself from smiling, in fact, because the only thing that was running through his mind was, Doctor Cox is finally opening up to me!
