I Quit!

Feb 19, 2006 12:06

It all started about two weeks ago. I was sitting in this very chair, messin around on this very computer. I get a phone call from Neffer and she tells me that Danny is spinning on Sat the 18th of Feb. I am wicked excited about the prospect, but have to wait two weeks. So anywho, two weeks pass of anticitpation. All to be completely let down! To say I was dissapointed would be an understatement... I can't think of a deeper word. I should have paid attention to the signs, ha ha ha! It started out with me, David, Jordan, Scott, Matt and Chris. We were drinking and one certain bottle of Vodka was completely killed... So we get ready to head out and I hear that Chris is outside getting sick. So I go out and see how he is doing. Him and Matt are outside the house. I sit with them for a min and then we bring Chris into the Bathroom (its freezing outside!) SO everyone else but the three of us go to get Neffer and Reg. After a while Matt and Chris decide that they want to go home. I try and keep them here and tell them to just crash here, but Chris is set on leaving. I can't force anyone to do what they don't want to do. I can only be a friend and let them know its kewl. ANywho, so I sit and watch TV until everyone else gets back, then they all come in, and now Scott is sick! Those 2 end up crashing until the morning. So now its just me David Reg and Neffer. We get to the club around 1 I think. They charge 10 dollars at the door! The reason? Danny! Since when did Danny command a higher cover? I haven't heard of him going on tour to london or anything, did I miss something?? ANywho, we get in, keep in mind that when we called yesterday they said he was starting at 1230. It's now 2 and no sign of Danny. I think its 3 before he starts. He was waiting for the crowd! What a premaddona! Then his set begins... Its the exact same shit he was playing two years ago. I was hoping for so much more. He always complained that he didn't get to play what he wanted to, here's your chance bubba. I sounded like he put one of his CDs in and just let it go. And to top it off he never looked down into the crowd once. I just wanted to say hey, I waved everytime he looked like he was going to look down. So Anywho, I now have a really salty taste in my mouth with insomnia and just going out in general. I need to get out of Huntsville. My weekends are just too precious for that kind of BS. I have so little freetime anymore.

On another bitch. Huntsville, the state of Alabama, the DOT or who ever was involved with yesterdays debacle is FUCKING RETARDED!!!! Anytime there is a bit of winter weather, people get so fucking stupid! it all started with a little sleet... No wait it starts with Dan Sutherfuck. He gets on the weather and works Huntsville into a bread, egg and milk buying frenzy. People act like its the fucking armegeddon. SO anywho, back to the sleet. Jordan and Scott somehow manage to drive from their house to ours, risking their very lives by driving slower! OMG what a concept! Then we jump in their car and we actually get all the way to TN and back to HSV! Where they have closed the parkway down. Keep in mind that is has stopped sleeting for at least an hour or so. Yes the bridges are a little slick. BUT they also should have been sanded by now.... Go DOT!! So we get to Navigate around town without the Parkway. We go to the mall and shop a bit and eat at carraba's (wasn't impressed) And then we head back to the house, the parkway is still closed. The roads are dry now. And then we get all the way to 565 and find out chapman mt is closed. WTF?!?!? now we have to drive all the way up to A&M to get home. This shot just pisses me off. The folks up north would laugh at us. what the hell, I laugh at this!

On a better note, I go to New Hampshire on Friday to see my folks and to go skiing! I am sooooo excited! I can't wait. I am hoping for a lot of snow!

The last two weeks at Target I have been woking in Inbound Dept. It was pretty kewl. It reminded me of when I worked in receiving back at the Beast. I got to learn a new piece of equipment, the clamp. which has two large plates on the sides instead of forks on the bottom. and it can grab and hold large and heavy item and then you just pull them out of the trucks and drop it on a pallet to be shipped to the stores, made life very easy. I enjoyed the two weeks, they went by very quickly, but I look forward to getting back to my Dept for a little while.

thats it for now. I am not going to even bother with a spell check, I don't like they way it works on Livejournal!
