Hello again.
It has been forever since I have posted on this thing. However, its 1250 a.m., I'm up and bored. A lot has been going on the last few weeks.
I seem to have lost contact with J, Ja, C, & S. They are getting ready to go south for school. I would be very sad if they didn't come by and say bye to this fat old man.
We have moved into our house. It is both good and bad. The seller didn't tell us about many of things wrong with this place. We have funky wiring, in-op garbage disposal (which was working when we had the place inspected) A broken hot tub. Many of the items on our list for the seller to take care of were never completed. We did get new carpeting, but the seller had his uncle do it, and, they used the same old pads which were all ready here. Grrrrrr...... On the good side, the extra space is great. I can be in the game room working on the computer and watching T.V. while D'wife is working on her projects in the work room and both kids can be doing things and we are no longer on top of each other. Pictures will come after we get our stuff put/thrown away. We have a lot of stuff!!!
The most exciting news, at least for me, is I was asked to write a Living Force module. For those of you non-gamers out there, Living Force (LF) is the role-playing game for Starwars and is played through sponsored events of the Role Players Gaming Association (RPGA). The mod is just a single event and not a trilogy, but thats OK. Several good things happen when this mod is published.....1st, I don’t get paid for writing it; I do it for the love of the game. 2nd, the mod has to be approved by Lucas Films, which means my writing will have been approved by George Lucas. 3rd, it will be played by tens of thousand gamers around the globe and translated into at least three other languages. Yes, I am excited!!
Mike is doing OK. We have had some minor clashes but he is still trying. He spent 2 days in ICU when his blood sugar went sky high. He has no insurance so it will cost him a pretty penny. Perhaps taking care of himself will be a little more important.
Shelly is really missing her hubby. The Army is playing its normal, "This is the plan today" followed by "The plan has changed to this" followed by "The plan has changed to this"...and so on.
D'Wife is changing her branch. She was asked to go clean up another branch which isn't doing so good. Its the first time she has gone into a center for the sole purpose of fixing things. She's a little scared and a little excited. She gets to learn Russian, so thats pretty neat.
Guess thats it for now. Take care all.
