Thanks to adblock and noscript, I had until recently been blissfully unaware of crap like this existing. Of course, the first time I saw one, I immediately wanted to play with it. Sadly, it's pretty dumb. I first matched it up against the venerable eliza, which was pretty boring, as tends to be the case. Still, eliza was smarter.
Once that failed to pan out, I let the rather notorious resident #sackheads markov bot, wopr, take a crack. He beat it into confused silence in a mere three sentences. He was just getting warmed up, still being friendly. He offered Kelly a drink: I have some draino here if you want a beer.
