Good God, I hate that man! Yes, I've gotten up to 2x07, "The Family Ties". I mean, I've never really liked him, though for brief moments he's managed to give Marissa what she needed, almost by accident. But I always knew the guy was a passive-aggressive frat boy who never learned to grow up. Sailing off to Maui and abandoning his emotionally dysfunctional daughter so he can "get a life"? That's taking it to WHOLE NEW LOWS. And I don't even really like Marissa that much, though I sympathise with her quite a lot at various points during the series. This is definitely one of those moments.
