30 days of Harry Potter: Day 3 and 4
Very busy with real life stuff (community conflict! parking tickets! it's stupid drama and yet we have to deal with it) but I'm gonna run to the mall soon to buy a last minute gift for my friend's baby. Yes, last minute shopping and it's only the second gift I'm buying this year--I already got something for the baby's older sister. Our friend from Halifax is home for Christmas and we're seeing her tonight, but we figure grown-ups don't need presents.
I totally forgot to do 30 days of HP last night, so here's Day 3 and 4 together.
03. What house would you be in?
Ravenclaw, probably? I'm not that bookish, despite my incessant Googling, but I'm certainly not a Slytherin and my Hufflepuff-ness only goes so far. It's probably no surprise to people who read my journal that Gryffindor is my favourite house. However, while I have some amount of courage and chivalry, I don't really have the physical daring and nerve that I think characterises that house. I feel that a true Gryffindor would be a lot more willing than I am to go, say, skiing or skydiving or some other physically dangerous activity.
04. Your favourite movie
Until recently, it was a tie between Prisoner of Azkaban--mostly for the Harry-Remus interaction--and Order of the Phoenix, which has Luna awesomeness and Harry-Sirius interaction. But I think Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is the best movie so far in terms of character development and just sheer emotional heartbreak, and while I missed seeing more of my favourite secondary/minor characters (or seeing them at all) I loved what the movie did for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. So yes, Deathly Hallows is my new favourite :)
