Oh, they are so very, very pretty! It's kind of sad and horrible that we didn't have such demonstrative joy and affection between the characters at the end of "Enemy At The Gate". Compare John and Teyla's stiff and defensive body language, both with their arms crossed, with Joe and Rachel's warmth and spontaneity! While the sour note and jarring ending of "Enemy At The Gate" works well for my own personal fic/meta theories, I suspect most fans wanted something a little more team-y.
Now, if we can only get Joe M to redeem himself further in our eyes by releasing photos/video of Jason snuggling Joe, because there used to be a behind-the-scenes video of Jason doing just that. Unfortunately I never saved it.
*points to DW icon* I shipped John/Teyla from their very first scene in "Rising", and while I don't particularly feel a need for John and Teyla to get together now, post-series, I still appreciate it when other people write it. Ditto art and icons! I anticipate a flood of new icons and wallpapers using this gorgeous, gorgeous pic! :D
