lgbtfest update
Oh darn, darn. There is just no way I'll be able to finish this fic before my assigned posting date. *whimpers* The story elements are all there, it's great in my head and it'll be decent enough once I get it all down in Word. And I have every intention of getting it all down, because I'm finally hitting my stride and this fic has become dear to me and I want to do it justice, to tell it right.
But if I do that, I won't finish in time. And yeah, I could chop it up a little and rush the ending and probably squeak through under the wire. But I don't want to do that. I want to tell my story properly.
The problem is that it's taking a really long time to tell the story. It's a family reunion and I want to actually show the reunion, explore the characters, and not fast-forward to the coming-out scene.
Well, that's what I get for not starting sooner. Ah procrastination. You kill me every time.
