OK, I'm gonna have to get out there & finally see this movie, aren't I? I've seen spoilers here & there, but it sounds like this would pretty much spoil the whole thing. I'm trying to decide how much I care if I'm spoiled, in this case whether I want to read m_c's fic (which sounds great!) before I watch the movie.

Okay, went on your rec and really liked it but now I need to know Barbara Gordon better! Any suggestions? Don't suppose you know if the TV show's any good? (Birds of Prey) The animated series? (For Batgirl, I know you rec it in general!)

Oooh, you want to know about Babs? She's an awesome character, and I think you'll really like her, considering you like Willow so much: red hair, brilliant, loves research and computers, and has lots of femslashy vibes with her closest female friends.

Barbara Gordon has been around 42 years, but since the comics universe moves so slowly, I'd say she's only in her late 20s now? Batgirl: Year One is considered the (new) canon origin story for Babs becoming Batgirl at age 17. It's an awesome book, full of girl-power
