From TrekToday.com: "Michael Piller, Star Trek: The Next Generation executive producer and co-creator of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager died early Tuesday morning at the age of 57."
I know he was also co-producing The Dead Zone with his son, Shawn Piller. I remember grinning when I realised the guy who brought us DS9 was also one of the creative forces behind TDZ.
