-on a side note...I rear-ended a girl on the cross country team today...and I'm so thankful that she is willing to let us pay out of pocket before going through insurance. I didn't get a ticket, because she was very very very nice about the whole thing - and I asked the officer if we could just handle it ourselves without a police report...and she also agreed to that, too...Amy, if you are out there in livejournal land - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
...she doesn't really have a lot of damage to her sunfire, but my hood is nicely jacked up and jammed so I can't open it to check everything under it to make sure everything is ok...no leaking underneath the car and the AC still works...and no funny noises so far - I think it'll be ok until I need an oil change.
Yay for not-so-gradual stops.
I was breaking already, before I hit her, just not enough because she had to hit her brakes harder right before I rear-ended her...
...dad will be in town Thursday to check out her car and see what we need to do.
