Today I didn't do so much for the thesis, because I had to prepare next semester's class. Topic: Travelling in the 12th and 13th century. While collecting the sources and looking for pictures to accompany them,  I found a nice page from the Codex Calixtinus. The codex is preserved in Santiago de Compostella. Under others, it contains a book of miracle, a book of prayers (including music), the tale of Charles the Great's travel to Jerusalem (fictional) and a pilgrim's guide for the way to Santiago de Compostella.

So by this way, you can find the song:

are the notations from the book of prayers: The melody starts in the line slightly above the "C", the first three notes of song are instrumental, and the voices start with what you see as the second note. Now follow the points! ^_^ The melody follows the second line beneath the  "c". Then start again with the second verse. ;) You can go on until the fourth. The beginnging word and the end word of every verse is marked with a capital letter.
