Oh shit. I stood up at 5.30 today, because suddenly, I got an idea for the semester plan.
I tried to do some writing afterwards, but I just wrote 300 words.
The radio was all about the (potential) new government.
So, we will probably have a woman on top, and admittedly, I have mixed feelings about her. I don't like her political ethos, but I can live without, I didn't like that she went to kiss Bush's ass before the previous elections in 2002. I don't think that she is the best qualified woman in her party to do the job. However, I can't deny her respect for the way she got herself to that place, because, unlike most politicians on top, she is neither a lawyer, nor a specialist in economy, but a natural scientist (physics), which affects her rethorical skills. She is not particularly attractive or charismatic, and she learned to use the same weapons in politic as the men use. Of course, she is and will be judged more severely than a man. But why should she be a better person? Maybe, I'm biased that way.
However, I'm still not sure that she will really make it before the election in the parlament. And afterwards, I have no idea what will change for the better.
